Computers are such a big part of our lives nowadays that it’s hard to imagine doing without them. We use them for all sorts of important things, like watching YouTube videos at work, playing Fortnite with our friends, or reading articles on Ebaum’s World.

But back when computers were first invented, they couldn’t do any of that crap. The computer NASA used for the moon landing had less processing power than a modern-day calculator. And these early computers were gigantic to boot– some weighing up to 30 tons.

You couldn’t use these computers to scroll Instagram and you couldn’t bring them into the bathroom with you, but these people seem to be pretty proud of them anyway. Big deal.
